Living a simple life

I’m still in Rwanda, living it up!

And yet, for the weeknight meeting part “Keeping Our Life Simple Helps Us Praise God,” this is what I wrote under “Ways That I Can Simplify My Life” (had to think long and hard about this):

No more meat

Use an outhouse

No more buses

Take a shower only once every 3 days

Use a charcoal fire instead of this:

Just kidding!

Actually, aside from visiting my family and having certain ethnic foods, I don’t miss the Western world very much.

This is because:

You can have loads of Bible studies (10+).
The Chinese pre-group is progressing well and is soon to become a group.
The English congregation here—one of two in the country—now has 100 publishers, including 34 regular and special pioneers, and a number of Bethelites.
We will be having our first English regional convention, via delayed streaming, in August.

And where else can you get geckos crawling up your living room wall? Life in Africa is great!
